About The Position

The Storeroom Attendant will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving and issuing materials, and maintaining a clean and safe storeroom environment. This role requires attention to detail, good customer service skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The position is a contract-to-hire role with a duration of 3 months.

Requirements

3+ months of relevant warehouse, storeroom, inventory, or material-handling experience
Experience with receiving, stocking, picking, packing, or issuing materials
Good customer service and communication skills
Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems
Ability to lift 35 lbs. unassisted
Ability to read and follow safety rules, work orders, and procedures
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Must have a personal vehicle for occasional travel to a second plant in North Charleston
Steel-toe or safety shoes required
Comfortable working in a warehouse/storeroom environment without AC

Nice To Haves

Experience with inventory and cycle counting is preferred

Responsibilities

Receive, unload, inspect, and put away incoming products, parts, tools, and equipment
Issue parts, materials, tools, and equipment to employees
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts
Load vending machines and Point-of-Use (POU) areas
Travel to a second plant a few times per week to support material loading
Label, organize, and store materials in racks, shelves, and bins
Assist with receiving and inventory replenishment
Enter inventory information into computer systems
Investigate missing or misplaced equipment and materials
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storeroom environment
Provide professional customer service to employees and site personnel
