About The Position
Under direction, coordinate, oversee and participate in the District warehouse operations; provide work direction and guidance to assigned warehouse and delivery staff in the performance of a variety of warehouse and delivery functions.
Requirements
- Graduation from high school and three years warehouse experience.
- Valid California Class C driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Process orders for supplies, material, and equipment.
- Train and provide work direction to assigned warehouse delivery personnel and assist in the receiving, inspecting, storage, issuing and delivering of warehouse items.
- Compile and maintain records.
- Assist in the maintenance of the warehouse to assure a clean, orderly, safe and secure operations.
- Operate a variety of equipment and vehicles, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies and trucks.
- Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining warehouse and delivery system and procedures.
- Perform special warehousing assignments as required.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
