About The Position

This is a cross-functional role designed for someone who can move fluidly between departments. By being trained in both Inventory and Shipping & Receiving, this person provides the team with the flexibility needed to meet changing daily demands and to help keep operations running. This position is not eligible for new visa sponsorship at this time. Candidates who already hold valid U.S. work authorization may be considered.

Requirements

Storing, issuing, shipping and receiving materials and supplies; applying purchasing procedures.
Applying inventory control methods.
Operating material handling equipment.
Entering and retrieving data using a computerized records system.
Some knowledge of safety procedures for handling hazardous materials.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Procure, store, and issue supplies in a supply operation.
Process and maintain inventory records.
Modify and implement inventory control and disposal procedures.
Act as a versatile team member by maintaining up to date knowledge of both Inventory and Shipping & Receiving workflows.
Shift focus between inventory tasks and shipping/receiving duties as needed to support team priorities and deadlines.
