About The Position

This is an entry-level, hourly position that will report to the Warehouse Manager. The primary function is to distribute merchandise to customers, ensuring accuracy and professionalism throughout the process. The role also involves securing merchandise in customer vehicles, obtaining necessary signatures, and maintaining a vigilant watch for security risks. Duties are performed during the employee's entire shift, and may include additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Minimum of two years prior experience in warehouse operations.
• Ability to read English sufficiently to read invoices, repair orders, faxed requests, and similar written materials.
• Basic English language writing skills.
• Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction, necessary to verify quantity of merchandise.
• Ability to grasp and lift or otherwise move goods weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted or up to 150 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to stand and/or sit and continuously perform essential job functions for a seven and one-half hour shift, with two fifteen-minute breaks and one-half hour meal break.

Nice To Haves

• Fluency in a language other than English may be preferred in specific locations where that language is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Distribute merchandise to customers, verifying against invoices.
• Load and secure customer merchandise in their vehicles.
• Obtain customer signatures on invoices to confirm receipt of merchandise.
• Return signed invoices to the pickup counter.
• Detect common signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks.
• Promptly communicate potential security problems to management or security personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned during the entire shift.
