About The Position

The Store Team Member is a flexible, hands-on role that supports daily store operations across receiving, inventory, product processing, order fulfillment, and customer service functions. Team members are placed based on store needs and may work across multiple areas. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and take pride in doing the job right.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate a smartphone and Bluetooth scanner.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead frequently.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace in a goal-driven environment.
  • Position requires seeing, hearing, use of hands and fingers, sitting, standing, walking, reaching, twisting, turning, kneeling, bending, squatting and stooping in the performance of daily activities.
  • Must be able to communicate with others including talking, hearing, and listening and exchanging communication.
  • This position requires working both indoors and outdoors as business needs require. Employees may be exposed to a variety of weather and environmental conditions, including heat, cold, rain, wind, snow, humidity, and varying temperatures. Employees are expected to work safely in these conditions while following all company safety policies, using appropriate protective equipment, and taking reasonable precautions to prevent heat or cold related illness.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, logistics, or fulfillment environment is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Unload trucks and containers by hand or using pallet jacks and other equipment.
  • Sort, stage, and organize incoming merchandise for processing.
  • Conduct physical inventory location scans and system updates using a smartphone and scanner to ensure accuracy.
  • Organize warehouse shelves and condense items to create space for incoming product.
  • Stock finished products in appropriate warehouse locations.
  • Digitally close out processed pallets from the BuyWander system once fully processed.
  • Open boxes and match items to their corresponding entries in the BuyWander application.
  • Inspect and document the condition of each item with accurate descriptions and photographs.
  • Reseal boxes securely and attach company SKU labels after processing.
  • Stock production and grading lines with necessary inventory to ensure continuous workflow.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and on time.
  • Verify order contents and ensure proper packaging before handoff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized fulfillment workspace.
  • Assist customers in person with questions, purchases, and returns.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems and process transactions accurately.
  • Maintain a welcoming, clean, and organized store environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with company safety standards.
  • Continuously remove debris, trash, cardboard, and recycling as they accumulate at workstations.
  • Follow all established safety procedures, especially when using safety knives and handling heavy materials.
  • Communicate discrepancies, issues, or concerns to a supervisor promptly.
