You are passionate about developing a strong team through effective coaching and training, you are a pro at making tough, strategic decisions to drive your business, you consistently deliver operational excellence and your store is always rocking AEO Brand Standards. Requirements

  • Previous retail management experience.
  • Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
  • Strong priority-setting and time management skills.
  • Ability to lead and develop teams.
  • General understanding of employment law.
  • Effective communication and conflict management skills.
  • Business acumen and ability to analyze reporting to drive sales.
  • Flexible availability to work when the guest shops.

Responsibilities

  • Driving sales by maximizing overall store productivity and building guest loyalty through a best-in-class guest experience.
  • Creating, managing, and owning the store's business plan to meet KPI goals.
  • Analyzing reporting and daily sales trends to make real-time, innovative business decisions to achieve store financial goals.
  • Recruiting, hiring, and retaining a high-performing team.
  • Advocating for the team's development, encouraging internal opportunities, and maintaining a succession plan.
  • Developing store leadership through training, performance feedback, individual development plans, and annual performance reviews.
  • Championing a culture of teamwork and recognition by establishing and communicating goals, holding the team accountable to brand standards, and celebrating outstanding performance.
  • Ensuring the store consistently maintains AEO Brand Visual Standards by owning all visual and merchandising processes, including Floorsets, merchandise adjustments, and replenishment.
  • Evaluating traffic, calendars, and payroll reports to make scheduling adjustments to meet business needs, ensuring payroll is in check and leveraging top talent.
  • Demonstrating integrity when making compensation decisions, ensuring audit and shrink results meet Asset Protection Standards, and following AEO's policies and procedures.
