The ideal Store Support employee has a passion for fashion, is positive, energetic and enjoys providing excellent customer service while working at the point of sale. This role involves assisting customers over the phone and at checkout with sales, returns, and other transactions, keeping the service quick, easy, and fun by listening to customer needs and sharing a love for fashion. The position also requires being a team player by keeping the department "runway ready," including straightening up, lightly cleaning, and restocking the cash wrap area and sales floor. Additionally, the role involves staying up-to-date on key fashion trends and products to assist customers with purchase decisions, building relationships with customers by informing them about upcoming events, Nordstrom gift cards, and the Nordstrom Rewards program, and being flexible to support other areas of the store including order fulfillment and order pick-up.
