About The Position

The Store Support Teammate helps fulfill Buckle’s mission to create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for Guests and completes sales-support tasks assigned by the Store Manager. The role involves welcoming and assisting Guests, processing purchases, supporting merchandising and store operations, and maintaining a clean, organized, shoppable retail environment. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. No prior experience or training is required.

Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and the day of and day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based on store and business needs.
Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including lifting and maneuvering 50 pounds throughout the store and backroom.

Responsibilities

Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and answer questions about the store and its merchandise.
Complete Guest transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) software and bag purchases.
Maintain and share knowledge of current sales and promotions, payment and exchange policies, and security practices.
Monitor and recognize security risks and theft, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.
Assist the Operations Manager and/or Visual Merchandiser with merchandising tasks, including preparing displays at heights no greater than ten feet, organizing fixtures and shelving, completing price markdowns, and processing transfers.
Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable store.
Apply Buckle’s Code of Ethics, policies, procedures, and handbooks.
Perform job duties with a high level of Guest service and contribute to a positive team spirit.
Complete special projects and other assigned duties.
