Store Sales Associate - Brown Jug - Tikahtnu
About The Position
Store Sales Associates are sought for the Brown Jug Tikahtnu Store (264) and other locations throughout Anchorage and Eagle River. Brown Jug is a premium retailer of wine, beer, and spirits, offering a friendly atmosphere and energetic work environment focused on convenience, selection, and top-notch service. The company promotes a team atmosphere that is busy, challenging, cooperative, and fun, ensuring employees are treated with respect and support. As a Store Sales Associate, you will provide excellent customer service, process transactions, stock and merchandise products, and maintain store cleanliness and organization.
Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older
Nice To Haves
- Have or obtain an Alcohol Server Card (we’ll tell you how to get one, it’s easy!)
- High School diploma or equivalent (preferred, not required)
- First-Aid Certificate is considered an asset but not required
- Training or passion for wine/beer/spirits is a huge plus!
Responsibilities
- Deliver great customer service
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
- Complete customer transactions on the Point-of-Sale (POS) device, including payment
- Assist customer from store and/or offer car service when appropriate
- Stock shelves and cooler with product
- Help keep the store clean and organized
- Other duties as assigned
