About The Position

The Store Sales Associate welcomes customers, identifies their needs, answers product questions, and recommends solutions while helping create a fun shopping experience. The role supports sales and store operations through customer service, product guidance, merchandising, transaction processing, inventory checks, store maintenance, administrative tasks, and opening and closing duties.

Requirements

Strong communication skills for building rapport with customers and team members.
Familiarity with inventory stocking procedures.
Basic mathematical skills for transactions, pricing, and inventory management.
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Ability and preference to collaborate within a team.
Positive attitude, dependability, and punctuality.
Availability for a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand for extended periods throughout the shift, and push, pull, and bend.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a Retail Sales Associate role or similar customer-focused position.

Responsibilities

Greet and direct customers upon entry and provide a welcoming, informative experience.
Provide accurate information about products and answer customer questions.
Inform customers about discounts, special offers, and promotions.
Stay knowledgeable about new products, trends, and promotions to guide customers and support upselling.
Organize and restock merchandise on shelves and maintain product presentation and availability.
Operate the cash register and accurately process cash and credit card transactions.
Assist with back-room organization, create merchandise displays, and work with team members to keep the store tidy and organized.
Conduct routine inventory checks and maintain accurate stock levels.
Complete administrative tasks as directed by the Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Team Lead.
Participate in store opening and closing duties and follow operational guidelines and procedures.
