Requirements

Minimum six months Team Member experience in industry or equivalent.
Basic receiving product knowledge.
Passion for Natural Food Industry.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of some Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work a variety of retail shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
Ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break.
Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift loads, up to 50 lbs. unassisted, push and pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.

Responsibilities

Operate machinery including the baler, compactor and pallet jacks in a safe and efficient manner.
Check all physical product against packing slips, confirming product integrity and checking product temperature as needed.
Maintain an orderly and efficient receiving area including the entire backroom area, the loading dock and trash areas.
In charge of all back door receiving, using available technology and manual receiving processes for all product going in and out of the building.
Keeping the back door secure, only authorized individuals may enter or exit.
Uphold Plum Market’s quality & receiving standards.
Maintain an organized receiving and back of house area, including but not limited to store supply management, receiving dock, baler, bottle return and compactors.
Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to all safe work practices.
Effectively communicate with Customers, Team Members and Store Leadership.
