Store Production Associate - Processor
About The Position
The Production Associate supports store operations by processing donated merchandise efficiently and accurately for placement on the sales floor. This position may perform multiple functions within the production area, including sorting, pricing, tagging, and hanging merchandise. The Production Associate is responsible for evaluating donated items, maintaining product quality standards, following established pricing and merchandising guidelines, and helping ensure a consistent flow of merchandise to the sales floor. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and committed to working as part of a team to meet daily production goals.

Responsibilities
- Inspect merchandise to determine whether items meet company quality standards for resale.
- Evaluate the condition and quality of merchandise before pricing.
- Price merchandise according to established company guidelines and quality standards.
- Determine whether merchandise qualifies for seasonal storage.
- Monitor the sales floor to help identify merchandise needs and improve the daily flow of products to the floor.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency when pricing merchandise.
- Follow all company and store policies and procedures.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
- Pull and process donated bags, boxes, and merchandise.
- Sort donated items into the appropriate departments or product categories.
- Inspect merchandise and determine whether items meet resale standards or should be designated as textile/rag material.
- Maintain an organized and efficient sorting area.
- Support the continuous movement of merchandise through the production process.
- Maintain an organized work area and ensure adequate space is available for sorting activities.
- Hang approved clothing and merchandise selected by the sorting team.
- Tag clothing accurately and efficiently according to company procedures.
- Ensure tags are placed correctly on merchandise.
- Determine whether appropriate merchandise should be placed into seasonal storage.
- Maintain productivity standards while ensuring merchandise is prepared properly for the sales floor.
- Work cooperatively with Production Associates, store leadership, and other team members.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced work environment.
- Support daily production goals and help ensure merchandise reaches the sales floor efficiently.
- Follow direction from supervisors and store management.
- Adapt to different production functions based on business needs.
- Maintain quality and productivity standards throughout the shift.
