About The Position

Town Pump is looking for a motivated and outgoing Store Personnel Manager to join their team. Town Pump is a growing company with increasing opportunities for career growth. As a Store Personnel Manager, you will make supervisory decisions consistent with Town Pump standards, policies, and procedures. You will assist the manager in planning, leadership, organizing, and follow-ups in the areas of personnel. You will set an exemplary example for co-workers in terms of professionalism, attitude, and teamwork in customer service and Convenience Store Operations. You will effectively assist in prioritizing, organizing, delegating, and following up on personnel-related tasks. You will recruit candidates using marketing materials and attend off-site functions such as job fairs. You will utilize the applicant tracking system for recruiting, monitoring job requisitions, accessing talent pipeline, reviewing/screening applications, and conducting background checks. You will conduct interviews, reference checks, and assist in orientation and initial training of new employees. You will retain knowledge of company history and benefits. You will complete mandatory reading of the “Hire Tough-Manage Easy” book, review the “HTME” guide and “Tool Kit.” You will assist in the continued development of all employees, including timely LMS assignment completion. You will utilize employee recognition tools, assist in staff scheduling, maintain employee performance reports, and enforce all company policies and procedures. You will maintain documentation to assist the store manager with retraining, disciplining, and/or recommendation of termination for problem employees. You will maintain a valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
