About The Position

This position is on-site. Do you have a passion for customers, their occasions and beverage alcohol? In this LCBO store leadership role, and reporting to the Store Manager, you'll build a robust store team. Every day you'll drive store results and champion responsible retailing. Come join the LCBO team! The Role You will deliver remarkable experiences as the trusted destination for the world's wines, beers and spirits. You will drive the customer experience in store by developing a customer-first team mentality in the store's operation and program execution. You will mentor and coach a diverse store team to achieve key store objectives. You will lead all operational responsibilities at the store including budgeting, scheduling, ordering, cycle counts, merchandising, inventory management. You will uphold social responsibility practices including participation in local events and leading donation campaigns. You will oversee facilities management, resource protection, health & safety, WSIB, workplace accommodation, environmental issues and human resources.

Requirements

  • 5 years or more of retail experience in progressive roles such as Store Manager, Assistant Manager, Trainer, Departmental Manager, or District Manager.
  • Customer-centric attitude.
  • Capable of magnificent execution in your store.
  • Know your store numbers.
  • High school graduate or bring the equivalent experience.
  • Proficient with internet/intranet and computer applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, web-based ordering and Workforce Management.

Nice To Haves

  • French-language proficiency is considered an asset.
  • Experience leading unionized employees is a bonus.
  • A college diploma, certificate or university degree in business or retail management is a bonus.
