About The Position

K&A Appliance Inc. is seeking a Store Operations Associate to work out of their Exton, PA location. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities include unloading/loading household appliances into/out of trailers using a hand dolly, loading appliances into various vehicles for retail customers which involves lifting appliances with a co-worker, cleaning appliances, handling freight properly to avoid damage, operating a 2-wheel hand dolly and pallet jack, and helping to maintain a clean warehouse and showroom. Successful candidates must be able to perform heavy lifting, be legally able to drive a company vehicle (have a valid PA Driver's License), have an excellent attendance record and a high degree of accuracy. Prior appliance handling experience is a plus.

Requirements

Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, reach, grasp, bend and stack appliances for up to 8 to 10 hours at a time (minus scheduled breaks)
Stand for long periods of time and walk continuously
Store staff may be required to lift up to 50 lbs on their own, lift more weight with the assistance of a co-worker, and safely maneuver heavy appliances (including large refrigerators & ranges) on their own, using only a 2 wheel dolly
Must be available to work up to 48 hours a week, 9am - 5:30pm Monday through Thursday, 9am - 7pm Friday & Saturdays 9am - 4pm
Must have a valid & current Pennsylvania Driver's License
Excellent attendance record
High degree of accuracy
