Store Morning Cleaner
About The Position
This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment with a focus on floor care. Responsibilities include the operation of the scrubber and buffer, dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows. The cleaner adheres to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. This position also involves being cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs. The role models established customer experience practices, supports a positive store culture, and maintains all floor care cleanliness standards. They are responsible for the organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the entire store, including the Sales Floor, Single Queue, Associate Lounge, Backroom, and Restrooms. Adherence to all company policies concerning Health and Safety, including refilling essential items, is required. The cleaner will also support Front End coverage needs, uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards, and participate in store recovery as needed. Adherence to all operational and loss prevention controls, including shrink reduction, is mandatory. Effective communication with management and Associates, and adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, including meal and break periods, are essential. Participation in safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment are also key aspects of this role. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements

Responsibilities

- Adhering to all company policies concerning Health and Safety (includes refilling of all essential items in the Lounge, Restrooms, and Front End).
- Supporting and responding to all Front End coverage needs.
- Adhering to and upholding merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
- Initiating and participating in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Adhering to all operational and loss prevention controls in accordance with company guidelines and policies, including shrink reduction.
- Communicating accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
- Adhering to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, including Associate meal and break period policies.
- Participating in safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
