About The Position
Lewis Bakeries, Inc. is looking for a part-time merchandiser for the Carmel, IN area to work approximately 15 hours per week. This role involves checking in and stocking product, performing some light bookkeeping, and merchandising various bread and bun brands including Bunny Bread, Healthy Life, and the Lewis brand. The position requires physically moving stacks of product in the store and using an electronic tablet for daily inventory.
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have a cell phone
- Successful candidates will be dependable, have good communication skills, have the ability to get along with people, and live locally to the area.
- Availability to work weekdays and weekends
Nice To Haves
- DSD experience is helpful, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Checking-in and stocking product
- Some light bookkeeping
- Merchandising Bunny Bread and Buns, Healthy Life Bread and Buns, and the Lewis brand of breads.
- Physically moving stacks of product in the store
- Electronic tablet use for daily inventory required
