Job title: Store Marketing Coordinator Department: Store Operations Reports To: Store Director FLSA Status: Nonexempt Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Store Marketing Coordinator’s responsibilities include the following duties (others may be assigned): Work with Corporate Marketing Team and Store Leadership to execute in-store marketing efforts; ensure signage, distribute/display collateral materials as directed; provide direction and implementation of seasonal décor and strategic cross merchandising. Establish and maintain consistent branding throughout the merchandising, signing, and advertising efforts. Share ideas with the Corporate Marketing & Community team based on field experience of the market, area, and customer. Work under the strategic guidance of the Community Programs team to create meaningful experiences in the store. Partner with store Chalk Artist and Corporate Marketing team to bring marketing programs to life. Monthly update meetings with Corporate Marketing & Community Team Community Marketing Responsibilities Identify and manage strategic opportunities within the community; execute plans based on the store Community Marketing budget with guidance from the Community Program Manager; coordinate store events and partnerships; schedule, coordinate, and plan successful execution of in-store and external events. Coordinate and deliver local donations and associated programs; coordinate the execution and follow-up of the Envirotokens program and maintain a strong relationship with community recipients. Coordinate and execute off-site community events and sponsorships, in partnership with the Corporate Marketing & Community team. Liaison with the community and educators to design and coordinate on-site cooking classes and events based on the Corporate strategic classroom program. Collect specific information regarding the class topic, menu, and general class description. Welcome and inform customers about the Classroom initiatives and upcoming classes and drive ticket sales. Assist customers in the signing up process and receive ideas/suggestions or address complaints. Coordinate with educators for the planning and execution of classes by collecting detailed recipes, running of show, and setting up details. Purchase of ingredients, set up, assist, and clean up facilities before, during, and after each cooking class/event by being the educator’s helper. Practice safe food handling procedures at all times. A plus if you enjoy cooking or have some background in cooking to best aid the chefs during their classes. Process class transactions after each class. Receive and process educator’s invoices to corporate. Compiles lists of prospective educators, speakers, and customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, Chamber of Commerce meetings, referrals, company database, and other sources to promote the use of the facility.
