About The Position

Menchey Music Service is seeking a Full-Time Store Manager to lead their retail team at their Gambrills, MD location. The store manager will be responsible for creating an exceptional customer experience, building a thriving store environment, leading the team to success, ensuring the store is well-maintained, and continuing the company's legacy of supporting musicians. This is a full-time position with a schedule based around retail hours.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in sales, customer service, or retail environment.
• 1+ year in a management or leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop strong sales skills across the team to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Oversee inventory management including cycle counts, transfers, and special orders to maintain accuracy.
• Track performance metrics and collaborate with leadership to drive store success.
• Create an inviting, well-organized store environment that showcases products and drives sales.
• Maintain merchandise displays that are clean, properly arranged, and maximize product visibility.
• Ensure the overall store appearance reflects the company's commitment to quality and professionalism.
• Build and inspire a high-performing team through effective team-building, training, and ongoing coaching.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and partner with the Regional Manager to continuously elevate team capabilities.
• Create staff schedules that optimize floor coverage and deliver excellent customer service.
