Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership ability with at least three to five years of experience in a customer-facing sales management setting.
  • Proficient in Excel, Power Point, Microsoft, and POS systems.
  • Must pass a drug test with a negative result on employment offer; drug and alcohol testing will be conducted as part of a random program, reasonable suspicion, and after some accidents thereafter.
  • Ability to be bonded as defined by First Supply’s fidelity bond insurance carrier.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales, service and marketing goals and objectives outlines in the Winnable Game and overall Business Development Plan (BPD).
  • Achieve a strong working knowledge of the showroom P&L and Adaptive Financial Planning tool
  • Aid in the development of monthly and annual sales budgets
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of local market opportunities and development of a proactive and effective customer development strategy to drive new customer acquisition.
  • Maintain “Best in Class” customer service, providing a gracious and branded experience to all customers.
  • Ensure the proper execution of client development strategies, ensuring consistent collection and updating of client information in our CRM database Constant Contact.
  • Maintain a strong and consistent team atmosphere by assisting colleagues’ customers in their absence.
  • Maintain the sales reporting process: including daily, weekly and monthly review of results with the sales team and Store Manager.
  • Achieve a satisfactory score of 3 or better annually on the Continued Improvement Checklists; CIC’s are conducted quarterly in partnership with the Store Manager.
  • Achieve a satisfactory score on all internal audits conducted bi-annually and complete an annual cycle count of all displays and on-hand inventory by year end, in partnership with the Store Manager.
  • Maintain standards for all creative products in store including literature, signage, price tags and overall décor.
  • Maintain customer quotes, sales orders, purchase orders, returns, open invoices, and related paperwork with a high level of urgency.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to the Sales and Operations Manager on all suggested ideas for store improvement, product development, and client services, internal and external.
  • Build and maintain a robust internal and external talent pipeline through employee, client and personal networking.
  • Ensure that critical positions are filled within 60 days.
  • Perform monthly, bi-annual and annual performance review meetings with designated members of sales team, in order to identify and leverage strengths, and to close any identified skill gaps through appropriate coaching and/or training.
  • Participate in monthly one on one meetings with the store team, reviewing performance results with the Sales and Operations Manager on a monthly basis.
  • Communicate the client development strategy, and the related individual objectives, promotions and event strategies to each sales team member.
  • Achieve overall team development and growth through ongoing coaching and training, ensuring that the team has the proper tools and resources to achieve expected goals and business results.
  • Maintain open communication with the Sales and Operations Manager on individual performance results.
  • Partner as needed on disciplinary action and formal performance improvement plans.
  • Schedule weekly and monthly vendor and manufacturer trainings for all products provided at the Kohler Store.
