About The Position

The Store Manager is responsible for ensuring all store operations align with SNE & Kohler’s brand standards and guidelines. This role involves providing an elevated shopping experience, coaching the team to achieve sales and service goals, and driving performance to meet SNE & Kohler KPIs. Responsibilities

  • Develop and motivate the Store Team to ensure all customers have a consistent experience.
  • Provide resolution support for customer service situations that are not able to be resolved by associates.
  • Monitor & provide feedback to Salesforce NPS regarding customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate & identify discontinued, non-working, damaged products etc to ensure the Store is up to date.
  • Communicate & coordinate with DSM & Showroom Maintenance to plan execution of updates & maintenance.
  • Manage 3rd party vendors (e.g., cleaning service, electricians, plumbers, window cleaners).
  • Ensure phones are answered and customers are greeted.
  • Work with Store & Corporate Teams to make sure samples & literature are stocked, available, & up to date.
  • Achieve profitability & meet financial objectives.
  • Meet & exceed orders, sales, GP and other metrics goals.
  • Aid in the development & execution of sales objectives.
  • Monitor & provide the necessary support to deliver the goals.
  • Provide frequent & timely feedback to Store Team regarding performance, including maintaining the Sales Board with regular updates.
  • Review monthly financials for the location published by CFO.
  • Monitor regular reports to maintain financial health of the branch (Open Order Reports, Bid Reports, Sales Reports, Trouble Queues, Calling Queues).
  • Create & manage Associate schedules, including overseeing PTO requests, managing time clocks, and having schedules finalized by Monday morning at 9 am.
  • Ensure the sales floor is covered at all times.
  • Manage daily showroom schedule (appointments, office time, lunches, etc.).
  • Distribute communication from corporate (e.g., Weekly Manager Meetings, Safety Topics, Employee Policies).
  • Conduct weekly Team meetings & monthly one-on-one meetings.
  • Write & administer bi-annual employee performance reviews within corporate guidelines.
  • Ensure staff provide quotes & presentations, enter orders, check acknowledgments, and provide follow-up in a timely manner.
  • Manage Team adherence to company policies and maintenance of a professional appearance and attitude.
  • Act as the main communication liaison between associates & corporate.
  • Uphold confidentiality for all personnel.
  • Handle all disciplinary actions including documentation, corrective action/coaching, and termination.
  • Pursue new trade contacts & leads to create new business.
  • Follow-up & maintain established trade relationships.
  • Attend local, industry networking events as able.
  • Manage customer lists & provide applicable contacts for events in a timely manner.
  • Oversee Team compliance with Salesforce integration.
  • Monitor, analyze & create reports from Salesforce.
  • Work with Team to utilize tools in Salesforce for building the business (e.g., email blasts, executing promos).
  • Provide Salesforce feedback to SNE & Kohler.
  • Assist with obtaining RGAs for returned & defective product, working with vendors and corporate & warehouse contacts.
  • Ensure any accumulated products, returns, or display changeouts are removed from the Store as soon as possible.
  • Assist staff with vendors as needed by communicating with reps, checking on product availability, checking on POs, tracking product, etc.
  • Assist with Delivery communication when needed.
  • Effectively communicate progress, ideas, and opportunities to upper management.
  • Act as Kohler/SNE representative at 3rd Ave.
  • Develop & maintain relationships with neighboring businesses.
  • Prepare the showroom for opening and closing (Turn on/off lighting, clean and maintain active displays, clear samples & prepare work surfaces for the next business day, etc.).
  • Attend events as requested (Both in-house and off-site).
  • Assist with in-house event execution as requested.
  • Support marketing projects & efforts and bolster team engagement.
  • Work with team & clients to identify projects appropriate for project gallery, New England Living, and other marketing opportunities.
  • Communicate to and collaborate with Showroom Marketing.
  • Perform additional tasks & projects as needed.
