The Store Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of store performance, including sales execution, team development, operational excellence, and customer experience. Requirements

  • Proven ability to lead and develop a sales team
  • Strong focus on driving performance and accountability
  • Ability to manage both people and operations effectively
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt and lead through change
  • 3–5+ years of retail management experience
  • Sales leadership experience required (furniture or big-ticket retail preferred)
  • Track record of achieving sales and performance goals
  • Experience managing inventory, scheduling, and store operations

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing sales team
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and performance feedback
  • Establish clear expectations and accountability across all team members
  • Create schedules that align with business needs and traffic patterns
  • Foster a positive, performance-driven store culture
  • Drive store sales performance and achieve monthly and annual goals
  • Monitor and improve key metrics including: Sales conversion, Average ticket, Protection plan (Guardsman) attachment
  • Ensure consistent execution of the sales process across all associates
  • Oversee visual merchandising and maintain showroom standards
  • Manage incoming inventory, transfers, and truck execution
  • Maintain accurate inventory control and store organization
  • Handle customer escalations and ensure a high level of service
  • Partner with distribution and customer service teams to support deliveries
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
