About The Position

Value Buds is seeking a Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, cultivate a high-performing team, and drive sales and compliance within a dynamic cannabis retail setting. The Store Manager will be responsible for store performance and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

Requirements

• 3+ years of retail or customer service experience with leadership responsibility
• Strong sales, people leadership, and operational skills
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell)
• Minimum age requirement based on province (18/19+)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check

Nice To Haves

• Cannabis, liquor, or regulated retail experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations and ensure operational excellence
• Recruit, train, coach, and manage store teams
• Drive sales, KPIs, labour, and budget performance
• Create a strong customer-focused sales culture
• Manage inventory, merchandising, and reporting
• Ensure compliance with provincial cannabis regulations
• Verify ID and follow all company policies and procedures
