About The Position

In this LCBO store leadership role reporting to the District Manager, you'll build a robust store team. Every day you'll achieve store results and promote responsible retailing. Come join the LCBO team! You will be 100% in-person at Store #0272 located at 204 Elgin St, White River, ON P0M 3G0. The Role To deliver remarkable experiences as the trusted destination for the world's wines, beers and spirits. You will create the customer experience in store by developing a customer-first team mentality in all aspects of the store's operation and program execution. You will lead a team in all aspects of store retail operations including customer service, inventory management, financial management, merchandising, and retail sales. You will oversee several functional areas for the store including social responsibility issues, facilities management, resource protection, health & safety, WSIB, workplace accommodation, environmental issues and workplace diversity.

Requirements

  • 3 years or more of related retail experience in progressive roles such as Assistant/Store Manager.
  • Customer-centric attitude.
  • Experience embracing new initiatives focused on continuous improvement.
  • Skills span customer service, inventory management, financial management, merchandising, and retail sales.
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Results oriented with the ability to focus on goals.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with customers, their occasions and beverage alcohol.
  • Enjoy spending time on the store floor and encourage giving back in support of the community for the greater good.
  • A college diploma, certificate or university degree in business or retail management is a bonus.
  • French-language proficiency is considered an asset.
