About The Position
A well-established Specialty Retailer is searching for a Retail Store Manager to join their team in NJ. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving sales, ensuring operational excellence and delivering an exceptional customer experience across all retail channels.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Retail Management experience.
- Strong Leadership, communication and team building skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with retail technology and POS systems.
- Customer-Focused, adaptable, ethical and results driven.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of sustainable agriculture and local food systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead, train and supervisor retail staff.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Manage inventory, merchandising and product presentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulatory procedures.
- Handle customer inquiries and feedback to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Collaborate with ownership and senior management on planning and goal setting.
- Support marketing initiatives, special events, and community engagement.
- Implement technology solutions to improve efficiency and address labor challenges.
- Maintain a clean safe welcoming environment in all retail locations.
