About The Position

Manages overall daily operations of a quick lube by Little Wolf Automotive Policy and Procedures, to ensure optimum performance, inventory, cash, and labor control. Also, to ensure the image of the quick lube and its employees is maintained while exceeding our customers’ expectations and protecting company assets. The Store Manager will recruit, hire, train, and supervise high-quality employees to meet or exceed our customers’ expectations and develop employees to help them pursue additional opportunities. In addition, the Assistant Store Manager will perform these same duties.

  • Must be able to stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
  • Work in an environment that frequently experiences extreme hot and cold temperatures.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, multiple times a day.
  • Must be able to work at a rapid pace for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the timely opening and closing of the Quick Lube.
  • Management of the schedule to ensure labor guidelines are met
  • Provide leadership and direction to his/her employees
  • Management of downtime to include, but not limited to, CBT training, hands-on training, role-playing, housekeeping, maintenance, and landscaping.
  • Accountable for accurate weekly inventory audits and end-of-month inventory counts
  • Ensure all new hire paperwork is filled out correctly
  • Ensure all hourly employees clock in and out, per company policy, and state and federal guidelines—payroll weekly compliance by following Monday.
  • Ensure proper staffing, training, and employee development for optimum utilization of personnel and turnover management
  • Actively pursues opportunities to provide informal rewards and recognition
  • Confront unacceptable performance, hold teammates accountable, and utilize appropriate teammate performance management techniques when necessary.
  • Communicates performance expectations and results with store staff.
  • Ensures all staff have been trained on safety procedures, including fire safety, hazardous communications, and spill prevention.
  • Ensures to provide feedback for the growth opportunities of the company.
  • Delegate effectively, maintain an open door policy, and can communicate effectively with all team members.
  • Follow up on all issues (promptly)
  • Conduct monthly staff meetings, daily huddles, hold subordinates accountable, and address unacceptable performance and discipline appropriately.
