About The Position

As a Store Manager at Sally Beauty, you will be a leader in the largest hair and beauty supplier globally, on a mission to empower customers to express themselves through hair. This role requires a proven leader with a strong drive to succeed, who believes in working hard and having fun. You will bring your leadership, talents, and experience to a team-oriented and dynamic environment. Store Managers are innovators, role models, and coaches who drive results and the development of team associates. Your primary focus will be on the customer experience, managing talent, inspiring your team, and ensuring every customer leaves with a great experience and a custom-fit solution for their hair and beauty needs. You will also ensure the store meets or exceeds sales goals by overseeing all store operations, focusing on budget management, expense control, sales growth, and inventory management. Additionally, you will protect customers, associates, and store assets by ensuring adherence to safety, security, and Company policies, and maintaining the store's appearance.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of customer service/retail sales experience.
  • 1 year of previous sales management experience.
  • Previous experience in operational, financial and performance management.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Passion for all things hair and beauty!
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
  • May be exposed to fumes and odors upon occasion.
  • Requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
  • Involves working around moving parts, carts, or machines, and may occasionally include exposure to irritant chemicals.
  • Must be able to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Cosmetology license is a plus – but not required.

  • Ensure the store always looks its best.
