Outerknown is seeking a Store Manager for its new store at Desert Hills Premium Outlets, with an anticipated opening between July 15 and August 15. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of specialty, luxury goods, or comparable retail environment experience.
  • Prior sales management experience.
  • Proven ability to drive sales results.
  • Ability to analyze selling reports, identify business trends, and react quickly to the needs of the business.
  • Skilled at delivering thoughtful and appropriate positive and developmental feedback.
  • Seeks feedback from business partners and cultivates an environment that encourages open conversation around opportunities to personally develop.
  • Genuinely values a circular fashion economy, sustainability, and the importance of fair labor standards.
  • Comfort in making decisions and mediating conflict within a team environment.
  • Ability to address complex issues and allocate time to execute multiple tasks and change priorities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to identify top talent and train/develop/retain great people.
  • Experience creating schedules and managing time & attendance.
  • Proficient in Windows-based software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook as well as Google-based software such as Sheets, Slides, and Docs.

  • Providing exceptional customer service, including responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Attending and/or initiating events outside the store to showcase the brand, operate pop-up shops, or host events like beach cleanups.
  • Training and communicating current collection knowledge with a focus on sustainability.
  • Understanding company set KPIs and identifying strategies when performance standards are not met.
  • Creating qualitative end-of-month reports, including sales figures, product performance, and team performance.
  • Developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Supervising inventory management, including cycle counting, monitoring stock movements, and executing inventory audits.
  • Developing operational strategies to increase productivity, minimize waste, and reduce costs.
  • Leading and mentoring team members to ensure they are well trained and equipped.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Analyzing product data to identify trends, patterns, and customer demand.
  • Encouraging the team to attend local networking events and build relationships with potential clients.
  • Implementing a customer service training program focused on creating a personalized and memorable experience with an emphasis on sustainability and core values.
  • Implementing brand-aligned events that focus on the client/community.
  • Leading the team to consistently establish client relationships, execute unrivaled customer service, and grow business through effective client outreach.
