About The Position
The Store Manager is an on-the-floor leader who performs store functions while guiding and modeling the expected behaviors for the team. The manager coaches, develops, and inspires employees to serve as Sunglass Hut ambassadors and creates an environment where associates consistently deliver The Sunglass Hut Experience. The role is responsible for achieving sales and company objectives, developing customer relationships, maintaining brand standards, and ensuring effective store operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of previous leadership experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in every aspect of store operations.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to use critical thinking to execute the operational components of the store.

Responsibilities
- Use The Sunglass Hut Experience tools to deliver the sales plan and company objectives.
- Drive sales by identifying opportunities to achieve personal and store goals.
- Lead by example by coaching, developing, mentoring, and inspiring the team to improve store performance.
- Foster teamwork, career growth, and talent retention through a development-focused environment.
- Recruit, hire, and train employees to meet staffing needs, using the provided onboarding tools.
- Create individual development plans to support team growth.
- Create an inspirational and motivating work environment that reflects the brand’s integrity.
- Build an emotional connection within the store team that supports sales and consistent delivery of The Sunglass Hut Experience.
- Continually coach and develop the team to ensure consistent execution of The Sunglass Hut Experience.
- Develop customer relationships through interaction and feedback.
- Act as an ambassador for the Sunglass Hut brand and consistently execute brand standards.
- Stay knowledgeable about products, new merchandise, and fashion trends.
- Ensure execution of operational policies and procedures and maintain brand standards.
- Communicate promotions, contests, and incentives to the team.
