About The Position

As a Store Manager at Sally Beauty, you will be a leader in the largest hair and beauty supplier in the world, contributing to a mission of empowering customers to express themselves through hair. This role is for a proven leader with a strong drive to succeed, who believes in working hard and having fun. You will bring your leadership, talents, and experience to a team-oriented and dynamic environment. Store Managers are innovators, role models, and coaches who drive results and the development of team associates. Your primary focus will be on the customer experience, managing talent, inspiring your team, and ensuring every customer has a great experience with a custom-fit solution for their hair and beauty needs. You will be responsible for ensuring the store meets or exceeds sales goals by overseeing all store operations, including maintaining budgets, controlling expenses, growing sales, and managing inventory. Additionally, you will protect customers, associates, and store assets by ensuring adherence to safety and security rules, procedures, and Company policies, and maintaining the store's appearance.

Requirements

At least 3 years of customer service/retail sales experience.
1 year of previous sales management experience.
Previous experience in operational, financial, and performance management.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Passion for all things hair and beauty!
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
May be exposed to fumes and odors upon occasion.
Requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
Involves working around moving parts, carts, or machines, and may occasionally include exposure to irritant chemicals.
Must be able to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

Nice To Haves

Cosmetology license is a plus.
