Responsibilities

  • Lead your team in helping every customer find the right bike, gear, and service for their needs and goals
  • Build a culture where customer relationships, trust, and long-term loyalty come first
  • Ensure your store consistently delivers enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and personalized service
  • Act as a visible, engaged cycling advocate in the local community
  • Recruit, coach, and develop a team that is passionate, knowledgeable, and customer-focused
  • Inspire and mentor employees to grow their skills and confidence in both sales and service
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and team-first environment where people enjoy coming to work
  • Lead by example with energy, accountability, and strong communication
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, organization, and consistency
  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure completion across all areas of the business
  • Manage scheduling, payroll alignment, and overall staff productivity
  • Oversee inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment to keep the store running smoothly
  • Monitor business performance, identify opportunities, and take action to improve results
  • Maintain high standards for store presentation, cleanliness, and organization
  • Collaborate on local marketing initiatives and events to grow the customer base
