Requirements

Significant retail management experience within a fast-paced fashion, fitness, lifestyle or premium retail environment.
Experience leading large teams, ideally managing 40+ colleagues within a high-volume retail setting.
Proven ability to drive commercial performance through effective leadership, KPI management and strategic decision-making.
Strong leadership skills, with a track record of inspiring, coaching and developing high-performing teams.
A passion for community, wellness and fitness, with strong alignment to the Gymshark brand and values.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Strong customer experience expertise, with the ability to create memorable and engaging retail experiences.
Experience analysing sales performance, identifying opportunities and implementing action plans that deliver results.
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of sales, profitability and operational drivers.
Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a calm and solutions-focused approach to challenges.
Experience recruiting, developing and retaining talent within a retail environment.
Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Experience managing performance and handling challenging situations in a professional and constructive way.
High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining exceptional operational standards.
Strong understanding of retail health and safety requirements and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

Leading and inspiring a large retail team, creating a culture built on performance, development, accountability and collaboration.
Acting as a Gymshark brand ambassador, bringing our values to life and creating an engaging environment for both customers and teammates.
Driving commercial performance through strong decision-making, data analysis and a clear understanding of store KPIs.
Taking ownership of the store's overall performance, ensuring sales, profitability and operational objectives are consistently achieved.
Delivering an exceptional customer experience by setting the standard for service, product knowledge and community engagement.
Identifying, developing and retaining talent, creating clear development pathways and succession plans across the store.
Recruiting, coaching and leading a world-class team that reflects Gymshark's culture and values.
Providing regular coaching, feedback and development opportunities that enable individuals and teams to perform.
Ensuring operational excellence across all areas of the store, maintaining high standards, strong processes and an exceptional store environment.
Partnering with regional leadership and GSHQ stakeholders to deliver business initiatives and strategic priorities.
Maintaining a safe, secure and compliant environment for teammates, customers, stock and assets.
Supporting key projects, launches and trading periods through effective planning, organisation and leadership.
Creating a culture of continuous improvement, learning and innovation that keeps the team engaged and performing at the highest level.
