About The Position

SOEUR, a beloved ready-to-wear brand from Paris founded in 2008, is opening its first store in the United States in New York City (SoHo) in October 2026. The brand is known for its timeless Parisian wardrobe, focusing on beautiful materials, effortless silhouettes, and durable clothing. SOEUR is seeking a Store Manager to be its ambassador in New York, responsible for opening the store, building the team, and creating the signature warm, personal client experience. The Store Manager will report to the Regional Manager and collaborate with the Paris head office.

Requirements

5+ years of retail experience, including 2+ years managing a store team (fashion, premium, or luxury preferred).
A track record of hitting sales targets and developing people.
Genuine passion for product, styling, and client relationships.
Comfort operating autonomously.
Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

French language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Own store revenue by analyzing KPIs, building action plans, and delivering sales targets.
Plan and run in-store events and clienteling initiatives to build a loyal New York client base.
Deliver an exceptional client experience and service, acting as the ultimate SOEUR product expert.
Recruit, onboard, train, and coach the Assistant Manager and Sales Associates.
Create staff schedules, manage payroll hours, and ensure compliance with NY labor law.
Set goals, give feedback, and foster a positive work culture.
Execute Paris visual merchandising guidelines for windows and displays.
Manage deliveries, inventory, transfers, and shrinkage prevention.
Oversee all cash handling and opening/closing procedures.
