About The Position

At Jaxen Grey, the Store Manager is responsible for owning the overall success of the store, including team leadership, sales performance, and operational execution. This role leads all store employees, sets the standard for a high-touch, styling-driven customer experience, and ensures the store consistently delivers on company goals, drives business results, and maintains operational excellence across the sales floor and back-of-house. This is a full-time, salaried leadership role responsible for all in-store operations, reporting to the VP of People & Culture.

Requirements

• 3+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a specialty retail, apparel, or client-focused selling environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, coach, and retain a high-performing team
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability for store performance
• Proven ability to drive sales performance and achieve business goals
• Ability to meet and model individual sales expectations (approximately 15% of total store sales, ATV $225, UPT 2.0) while leading the team to overall store performance goals
• Strong operational and organizational skills across retail functions
• Ability to balance team leadership with hands-on execution
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Comfort using technology, including Point of Sale systems and Microsoft 365
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Lead all store employees, including Assistant Store Managers, Stylists, Inventory, and Support roles
• Drive store performance by setting expectations and coaching the team to achieve sales, service, and customer experience results
• Own employee performance management, including coaching, development, and corrective action when needed
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and overall team development
• Actively manage the sales floor, ensuring exceptional customer experience and strong selling behaviors
• Oversee all store operations, including opening and closing procedures, shipping and receiving, alterations, special orders, merchandising, and cleanliness standards
• Ensure execution and accountability of company initiatives, policies, and standards at the store level
• Partner with inventory leadership to maintain inventory accuracy, organization, and operational efficiency
• Monitor store performance and team effectiveness, and implement action plans to drive results and foster a positive, accountable culture
