About The Position

Casey’s Store Manager oversees all aspects of operating a successful store, including team management, guest service, merchandising, loss prevention, and food preparation. The role executes company initiatives, drives sales, and maintains quality and service standards while building a welcoming store atmosphere for guests, team members, and the community. The manager hires, develops, coaches, and supervises team members; manages staffing and scheduling; oversees kitchen operations, store inventory, deliveries, audits, and asset protection; and works with the District Manager and store leadership team on action plans informed by performance indicators and profit and loss statements. The position includes a customizable career path for continued management and leadership growth.

Flexibility to take calls as needed and work varied hours, including at least one evening shift per week, every other weekend, and some holidays.
Ability to stand and/or walk; lift and/or carry 10–50 pounds; perform repetitive wrist, hand, and/or finger motions; and reach, bend, stoop, climb, and reach above shoulder level.
May be subject to a background check consistent with state licensing requirements and applicable law.

Responsibilities

Execute Casey's strategic initiatives, drive sales, and maintain quality and service standards.
Keep the store stocked and clean and build strong relationships with guests and the community.
Hire, train, develop, and supervise team members; coach and mentor them to support their success and growth.
Model and coach Casey’s CARES values: Commitment, Authenticity, Respect, Evolving, and Service.
Manage the labor budget and staffing needs for regular hours, special events, and high-traffic periods.
Maintain the scheduling system, prepare and post schedules on time, and communicate scheduling updates.
Oversee kitchen operations to maximize productivity and profitability.
Complete or oversee daily bookwork, Daily Store Walks, Daily Task Lists, required counts, audits, merchandise orders, inventory, and Direct Store Deliveries.
Ensure asset protection processes and audits are completed to protect company assets.
Partner with the District Manager and store leadership team to develop Store Action Plans based on key performance indicators and P&L statements.
Attend and successfully complete required job trainings and assessments, including ServSafe Food Protection Manager where applicable, and ensure team members complete required training.
