About The Position

A Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a retail establishment, ensuring efficient and profitable performance while maintaining high standards of customer service. This role includes supervising staff, managing inventory, implementing sales strategies, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The Store Manager is also accountable for financial performance, including budgeting, sales targets, and expense control, as well as fostering a positive work environment and developing team members to achieve organizational goals. As a manager, you may be required by the local jurisdiction where a store is situated to provide certain detailed background information necessary to obtain a license to sell alcoholic beverages / tobacco products. Failure to comply and/or qualify for such license can lead to demotion or separation of employment.
