Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

Train with the store manager and/or co-manager to learn the overall operation of the store, including making supervisory decisions consistent with Town Pump standards, policies, and procedures.
Understand controllable expenses, sales increases, inside gross margins, shortage controls, and promotional programs.
Set an exemplary example for co-workers in terms of professionalism, attitude, and teamwork in customer service and Convenience Store Operations, including communicating with customers and resolving complaints and inquiries.
Serve as an acting store manager during the store manager’s absence when the co-manager is not available.
Complete daily bookwork using a computer to record employee information, inventory, and sales information.
Order supplies and merchandise, inventory merchandise, invoice merchandise, key in daily sales, and perform merchandising tasks including receiving, pricing, stocking, displaying, and rotating inventories.
Complete store maintenance and basic repairs, make bank deposits, and perform light cleaning of the store and restrooms.
Provide new employee hiring, training, and orientation, and handle disciplining and/or terminating problem employees.
Maintain security of all store assets, including control of cash, fuel, inventories, store merchandise, and labor hours.
Maintain a valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record and complete other duties assigned by management.
