About The Position

The Store Manager is responsible for creating an excellent shopping experience for customers by driving sales growth and profitability while fostering a positive, engaging work environment for team members. This role leads all store operations, ensures compliance with company standards and legal requirements, and develops a high-performing team to deliver best-in-class store standards.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3–5 years of management experience in retail or grocery
  • Proficiency in computer systems including POS systems and inventory software
  • Experience with scheduling, merchandising, budgeting, and expense control
  • Proficient in planning and analytical skills (comprehension of P&L’; budget and expense)
  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete administrative tasks efficiently
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Must Adhere to a uniform dress code

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily store operations to meet all company standards while driving sales growth and profitability
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service, addressing complaints and feedback effectively.
  • Monitor Inventory levels, order new products, and manage stock control to minimize waste and ensure product availability.
  • Establish and ensure proper rapport and partnership with external vendors to maximize sales and profitability, seeking proper product assortment through new items, area demographics and deal buys
  • Recruit, train, coach, mentor, and evaluate team members to build a highly performing, engaged workforce
  • Create and maintain a clean, safe, organized, and customer-focused store environment
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies and all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Manage key performance metrics including sales, labor, shrink, inventory, margins, and EBITDA
  • Analyze financial and operational data to make effective business decisions
  • Execute merchandising programs, planograms, signage, and inventory controls
  • Oversee product quality, freshness, in-stock levels, and proper rotation practices
  • Communicate effectively with team members, leadership, vendors, and support teams
