About The Position
Town Pump is seeking a motivated and outgoing Store Maintenance team member to join their growing company. This role offers increasing opportunities for career growth within the organization. The Store Maintenance member will be responsible for a variety of tasks including customer service, mechanical operations, repairs, housekeeping (both interior and exterior), store security, and assisting store cashiers. This position requires a commitment to keeping the store operational and may require coming in as needed, while interacting with the public to provide exceptional customer service. The role also involves assisting clerks or managers as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to repair, grease, clean, and test fuel pumps and associated equipment.
- Proficiency in maintaining refrigeration, HVAC systems, and control systems.
- Practice safe procedures in repairs and tool handling.
- Willingness to wear protective clothing and other necessary personal protective equipment.
- Ability to handle building and property upkeep, including landscaping and trash and snow removal.
- Experience maintaining use or repair books, safety manuals, duty logs, pump inspections, and electrical schematics.
- Ability to perform light maintenance such as lamp and ballast replacement.
- Commitment to keeping the store running and available to come in as needed.
- Ability to interact with the public providing exceptional customer service.
- Willingness to assist clerks or managers as needed.

Responsibilities
- Customer service
- Mechanical operation, repairs, and maintenance of store equipment including fuel pumps, refrigeration, HVAC systems, and control systems.
- Housekeeping inside and outside the store, including cleaning and painting buildings, sidewalks, and fuel islands.
- Building and property upkeep, including landscaping, trash removal, and snow removal.
- Maintaining repair books, safety manuals, duty logs, pump inspections, and electrical schematics.
- Light maintenance, including lamp and ballast replacement.
- Ensuring the store remains operational and responding as needed.
- Providing exceptional customer service to the public.
- Assisting store clerks or managers as needed.
