About The Position
Shoe Station is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Store Lead to oversee an area of the store. This role is perfect for someone ready to take on more responsibility and grow into a leadership position. Requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Confidence in taking initiative and leading by example
- Ability to learn and operate the POS system
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs during shifts
- Comfortable bending, squatting, and reaching for merchandise
- Able to move quickly in a fast-paced store environment
Nice To Haves
- At least one year experience in retail, sales, or cash handling
Responsibilities
- Lead a department (such as Women’s, Men’s and Children’s departments) and support overall store standards
- Greet and assist customers with a positive, helpful attitude
- Train and guide associates on service, product placement, and cash handling
- Handle transactions, returns, and safe/till counts as needed
- Organize merchandise, displays, and help with truck unloading and floor moves
- Promote current sales and programs
- Delegate tasks and communicate clearly with the team
