About The Position
The Store Forklift Operator supports daily store operations by handling inventory and moving building materials, including joint compound, paint, corner metal, and drywall supplies. The role involves loading and unloading shipments, organizing and stocking products, operating material-handling equipment safely, and helping store staff with heavy lifting and customer loading. The operator also maintains an orderly warehouse and yard.

Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload delivery trucks carrying building materials.
- Move products to designated storage areas or sales floor locations.
- Assist with inventory organization, restocking, and rotation.
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures.
- Support store staff with heavy lifting and customer loading as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and yard area.
