About The Position

As a Store Facilities Team Member at Parker’s Kitchen, you will help maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the store while providing friendly and helpful customer service. In this role, you will support the store team by completing cleaning, maintenance, and organizational tasks both inside the store and throughout the fuel area. Your work will help ensure a safe, welcoming environment for customers and team members while upholding the high standards Parker’s Kitchen is known for.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age upon hire date.
Must have reliable transportation.
Completion of necessary training upon hire.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing customer needs and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Speak honestly and act with integrity, upholding company values at all times.
Handle cash transactions, fuel transactions, and other retail shift duties as assigned.
Responsible for alcohol, tobacco, lottery sales, and other age-regulated products.
Perform cleaning and organizational tasks to maintain the store’s cleanliness and presentation, both inside and outside.
Conduct general property maintenance, including cleaning parking lots, landscaping, windows, doors, restrooms, and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment.
Shovel and salt walkways during inclement weather to ensure safety.
Monitor long- and short-term parking and coordinate towing as needed to enforce Parker’s parking policies and maintain a safe, organized environment for employees and customers.
Stock and replenish inventory throughout the store, including food and beverage areas, to ensure products and supplies are consistently in stock.
Perform all store housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash, to maintain a clean and organized environment.
Complete the fuel checklist daily and perform tasks to ensure compliance with company standards.
Clean fuel dispensers, fire extinguisher cases, fuel storage boxes, and fuel kiosks as part of regular maintenance.
Maintain washer fluid and paper towel levels in the fuel area.
Install, maintain, and repair handles, breakaways, and hoses to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Replace fuel filters quarterly to ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency.
Empty and maintain recycling machines, garbage cans, and cigarette receptacles, ensuring cleanliness throughout the store.
Complete and schedule minor preventive maintenance tasks to prevent larger issues.
Stay updated on new policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to company standards.
Communicate any issues or concerns with the Store Leader/Shift Leaders.
Work through cleanliness checklists to ensure tasks are completed to the highest standard.
Attend mandatory store meetings to stay informed and support the team with store maintenance.
Foster a collaborative learning environment by sharing expertise and assisting in the development of others.
