The Store Environmental Team Member is responsible for maintaining a high standard of the store's overall look and feel, including cleanliness and recovery standards, to deliver on Brand Promises. This role involves delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers with shopping, and ensuring the store is clean and safe for both customers and staff. The team member will collect and dispose of trash, dust and mop floors, move equipment and products for cleaning, and clean assigned areas using provided materials and equipment. This may include mixing cleaning solutions. Deep cleaning of key areas such as bathrooms, breakrooms, and entryways is also a responsibility. The team member must maintain cleaning equipment, notify supervisors of supply needs, and proactively identify and address areas requiring cleaning. All tasks must be completed in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines. Maintaining positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers is essential, projecting a positive image and serving as a role model. Additional duties may include providing a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling, engaging customers in the Rewards program and credit card enrollments, assisting with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, Ship from Store), participating in truck un-loads, stocking, and planogram processes, and supporting shrink and safety programs. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs is required to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
