About The Position

This part-time role focuses on maintaining a high standard of store cleanliness and presentation, ensuring a positive shopping environment for customers and a safe space for staff. Responsibilities include general cleaning, trash disposal, floor maintenance, and deep cleaning of specific areas. The role also involves customer service, cash handling, assisting with online orders, participating in stocking and inventory processes, and supporting safety and loss prevention programs. Team members are expected to uphold company values, project a positive image, and adhere to all operating procedures and policies.

Requirements

Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
Ability to move throughout the store.
Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals from cleaning supplies.

Responsibilities

Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards.
Deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping and finding products.
Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and place products back in correct placement.
Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment.
Mix water and detergents to prepare cleaning solutions.
Deep clean key areas such as bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, and high-traffic areas.
Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly and notify supervisor of supply needs.
Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks.
Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
Provide a fast and friendly check-out experience and execute cash handling.
Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
Participate in truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
Execute Company policies and standards.
