STORE ENVIRONMENT TEAM MEMBER
About The Position
This role is responsible for maintaining a high standard of the store's overall look and feel, including cleanliness and recovery standards, to deliver Brand Promises. The team member will provide friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping, and ensure the store is clean, safe, and welcoming for both customers and staff. This position also involves other duties such as providing a fast and friendly checkout experience, engaging customers in loyalty programs, assisting with online order fulfillment, participating in stocking processes, and supporting safety and shrink programs.
Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
- Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
- Ability to move throughout the store.
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching.
- Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
- Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals.
- Applicants in Canada must satisfy federal, provincial, and local legal requirements of the job.

Responsibilities
- Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.
- Provide friendly customer service and assist customers.
- Collect and dispose of trash.
- Dust and damp mop floors.
- Move equipment and products for cleaning and proper placement.
- Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment.
- Mix cleaning solutions.
- Deep clean key areas of the store (bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, high traffic areas).
- Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly and notify supervisor of supply needs.
- Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative.
- Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
- Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
- Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
- Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
- Provide a fast and friendly check out experience and execute cash handling.
- Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
- Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
- Participate in truck un-load, stocking, and planogram processes.
- Support shrink and safety programs.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
- Execute Company policies and standards.
