About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining a high standard of the store's overall look and feel, including cleanliness and recovery standards, to deliver on Brand Promises. The team member will deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping the store, and help them find what they are looking for. Additional duties may include providing a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling, engaging customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, assisting with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and Ship from Store), participating in truck un-loads, stocking, and planogram processes, supporting shrink and safety programs, and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs for compliance.

Requirements

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to move throughout the store.
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching.
• Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
• Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals from cleaning supplies.
• Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards.
• Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in shopping the store.
• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures.
• Dust and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and products for proper cleaning and places products back in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment.
• Mixes water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
• Deep cleans key areas of the store including bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways and other high traffic areas.
• Keeps cleaning equipment neat and orderly and notifies supervisor of supply needs.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning and takes initiative to complete the task.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Maintains positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
• Projects a positive image and serves as a role model.
• Provides a fast and friendly check out experience and executes cash handling to standards.
• Engages customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and completes enrollments.
• Assists with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
• Participates in the truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Supports shrink and safety programs.
• Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance.
• Executes Company policies and standards.
