The Store Environment Team Member is responsible for maintaining a high standard of the store's overall look and feel, including cleanliness and recovery standards, to deliver Brand Promises. This role involves delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers in shopping the store and finding products, and performing cleaning duties according to approved procedures. The team member will also deep clean key areas of the store, maintain cleaning equipment, and notify supervisors of supply needs. They are expected to take initiative in identifying and completing cleaning tasks and perform all assigned duties in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines. Maintaining positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers, and projecting a positive image are also key aspects of this role. Additional duties may include providing a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling, engaging customers in loyalty programs, assisting with omnichannel processes (BOPIS, SFS), participating in truck unloads and stocking, supporting shrink and safety programs, and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
