About The Position

This is a part-time role focused on maintaining the store's appearance and cleanliness, ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. The team member will be responsible for various cleaning tasks, customer service, and supporting store operations. The role also involves upholding company values and contributing to a safe and welcoming environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to move throughout the store.
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching.
• Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
• Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals from cleaning supplies.

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of store cleanliness and recovery.
• Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers.
• Collect and dispose of trash.
• Dust and damp mop floors.
• Move equipment and products for cleaning and ensure correct placement.
• Clean assigned areas using provided materials and equipment.
• Mix cleaning solutions as needed.
• Deep clean key areas such as bathrooms, breakrooms, and high-traffic zones.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and notify supervisors of supply needs.
• Take initiative to identify and complete cleaning tasks.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
• Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
• Provide a fast and friendly check-out experience.
• Execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
• Execute Company policies and standards.
