About The Position

This part-time role focuses on maintaining the store's appearance and cleanliness to ensure a positive Brand Promise for customers. The team member will be responsible for general store upkeep, including trash disposal, floor cleaning, and deep cleaning of high-traffic areas. Additionally, the role involves customer interaction, cash handling, assisting with online orders, participating in stocking processes, and supporting safety and shrink programs. The position requires adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and Company programs.

Requirements

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to move throughout the store.
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching.
• Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
• Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals from cleaning supplies.
• Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.
• Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers.
• Collect and dispose of trash.
• Dust and damp mop floors.
• Move equipment and products for cleaning.
• Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment.
• Mix cleaning solutions.
• Deep clean key areas such as bathrooms, breakrooms, and entryways.
• Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly and notify supervisor of supply needs.
• Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
• Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
• Provide a fast and friendly check out experience and execute cash handling.
• Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
