PT Store Environment Team Member
About The Position
This position is responsible for maintaining a high standard of the overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver Brand Promises. The role involves delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers in finding products, and performing cleaning duties. Additionally, the role may include tasks related to checkout, customer engagement for loyalty programs, Omni channel processes, truck un-loading, stocking, planogram execution, and supporting safety and shrink programs. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs is required.
Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
- Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
- Ability to move throughout the store.
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching.
- Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
- Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals.

- Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.
- Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers.
- Collect and dispose of trash.
- Dust and damp mop floors.
- Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and place products back in correct placement.
- Clean assigned areas with assigned materials and equipment.
- Mix water and detergents to prepare cleaning solutions.
- Deep clean key areas of the store (bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways, high traffic areas).
- Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly and notify supervisor of supply needs.
- Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative.
- Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
- Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
- Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
- Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
- Provide a fast and friendly check out experience and execute cash handling.
- Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
- Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
- Participate in truck un-load, stocking, and planogram processes.
- Support shrink and safety programs.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
- Execute Company policies and standards.
